Since the winter of 2006 we have ran our curry and quiz night every other Wednesday starting at 7.30pm and running for about 2 1/2 hours with a 1/2 break in the middle for the curry.

Our quiz is designed for us by a local quiz master and consists of seven rounds which range from general knowledge, sport, music, history, films, media etc. The prize money is shared amongst the 1st,second and third place depending on how many teams are playing.

There is also a snowball round which if not won the pot continues for the following week. The record for this is £240.00

Entry is £7.00 per person and there is a maximum of 4 players per team

During the break we serve a choice of two homemade curries one of which is always vegetarian and the other either beef, lamb or chicken and is served with basmati rice, popodoms and mango chutney
